Clean eating is a challenge, given the amount of processed foods you can find on the market. It sounds harder than it actually is, and once you get started and taste real, clean food and get to testify to its benefits later on, there’s nothing stopping you.
Every single food we buy at the supermarket has at least one additive to preserve it better, to make it look better, or to taste better. But luckily in the last few years, you can see that many people have stopped eating whatever, whenever and began to become more interested in where their food comes from, how it is being produced, what it contains, and what health benefits it has. This has led to a movement that is trending more and more called clean eating.
In "Clean Food Diet" you will discover:
- What is clean eating is
What to eat
How to eat clean
How to cook clean
MarksvilleandMe reviews Clean Food Diet
The first thing you might ask is what does a Clean Food Diet mean? It really doesn't mean to diet at al but rather to eat healthier foods that are not processed. More consumption of whole foods, not GMO's, more plant source based foods.
We don't quite as far as not eating meat but our family has been eating more healthy foods and for my readers how read my post the other night back to reading labels more often even if it is from a company we trust, you just never know when they will make a change. What you have always gotten just might not be what you were buying when it first started out.
Some of our favorite recipes from this book were the Caramelized Pineapple, Strawberry and Spinach Salad, Two ingredient oatmeal cookies (Yummy), and the Grilled peaches. My husband is still iffy about tofu so we haven't made that switch but we have substituted chicken for many of the recipes so if you still eat meat that is another choice for most of the recipes.
I have enjoyed reviewing Jonathan's books, I know I have one more to review but hope the will put out a few more so I can review those as well. Here is to a healthier life for everyone and the switch to a Clean Food Diet.
