To the Edge and Beyond

How to Train Your Dragon
Dragons: Race to the Edge
only on Netflix

OK I am a blogger and with that comes lots of mail, tons of boxes, and lots of surprises. A huge box showed up and I had no idea what it was. As usual the kids and husband fought over who would open the mystery box.

The outside of the box was fantastic enough, the kids could hardly wait long enough for me to snap some pictures before I let them open it up.

Once opened we could see a few goodies but had no idea how much would be hidden under all of that red shredded paper (which I am repurposing for Christmas baskets). Once we found everything we set it up for a quick picture before the girls were off looking for Dragons around the house to play with.

The box was filled with snacks, fun, props, and of course a nice Dragon throw blanket to cover up while enjoying episodes of Dragons: Race to the Edge.

Check out the Dragons: Race to the Edge Trailer below.

What Netflix has to say about Dragons: Race to the Edge

This summer, Hiccup and Toothless, from the critically acclaimed How to Train Your Dragon films are embarking on unparalleled adventures in the all-new Netflix original series Dragons: Race to the Edge - and inviting you along for the dragon ride.
Soaring beyond their home on the island of Berk in search of new dragons, Dragons: Race to the Edge introduces some of the most exciting dragons yet, each with its own amazing abilities -- shock waves, cannon balls and fire blasts, just to name a few.
With the magical Dragon Eye, an artifact Hiccup finds aboard an abandoned ship, Hiccup learns there is more outside the confines of Berk, and that a little curiosity and determination can make every day an exciting journey. In Hiccup’s own words, “this changes everything.”

Personally this summer has been a big adventure from our third child graduating, our 12 year old attending British Soccer, to my 12 and 7 year old taking the plunge from 15 stories up on the Sky Coaster and also being slingshotted through the air on the  Sling Shot. Next on their list is sky diving. Yes I have two dare devils on my hands. Believe me we would have never let our first born ever do anything like this, but as we age we realize we want our children to be able to do things that might only come along once in their lives, so if they ask, it is legal, and we can make it happen we are in for the adventure along with them. Here is to lots of adventure in your lives as well.

Tell me about something daring you, your family, or children have done.
