We have another that about slam dances their face into the bowl every time like they have never been fed, splashing food everywhere, and then our third kitty who just eats very slow.
We were getting tired of sweeping, wiping, and scraping the floor by the dishes so this nice silicone mat comes in handy because when it is dirty it can be picked up discarding the hard food in the garbage and if there is any food particles stuck on the mat it is very easily washed and air dried. Much easier than mopping, sweeping, etc. Save me time, and is much faster than the later.
These mats come in several colors and measures 19 by 12 inches, and the best part besides the clean up is the little paw side so you can easily pick up your mat from the floor.
